Product Description
H Acid is commonly utilized as a dye in the textile, paper, and leather industries, where it imparts a yellow to orange color to materials. It is also used as a precursor for the production of other dyes, such as Acid Yellow 23 and Acid Orange 7. H Acid is prepared by reacting naphthalene-1,5-disulfonic acid with nitrosylsulfuric acid, followed by reaction with sodium nitrite and hydrochloric acid to form the diazonium salt. The diazonium salt is then coupled with 8-hydroxy-1,3,6-pyrenetrisulfonic acid to form the final product.
